Susan Howlett has been raising money joyfully for over 40 years, as a board member, development director, executive director, and – for the last 25 years – as a consultant to over 1000 nonprofits nationwide. Author of two acclaimed books and leader of several regional professional associations, Susan has taught fundraising at the University of Washington for 20 years. She is known for her liberal use of stories, humor, practical suggestions, and chocolate.
