MID-LEVEL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Ascending Leaders 

​A program for growing leaders and managers in Idaho nonprofits
Apply to the program

For Mid-Level Management 

Ascending Leaders: join up to 50 nonprofit leaders from diverse organizations across the state of Idaho to expand your leadership skills. It will be packed with learning opportunities, peer bonding, and other leadership growth opportunities. The program includes:
  • five workshops 
  • office hours for individual coaching ​

Cost to Participate:
  • Members: $75 
  • Not-yet-members: $100

Who should Apply:
  • Nonprofit employees with less than five years experience leading a team.
  • You must be a manager of at least one year. That can be staff, board members, volunteers, etc.
  • Are you an executive director with more experience? Try the Idaho Leads program.

Objectives

  1. Increase your leadership capability to better serve your mission, team-members, volunteers, clients, and community.
  2. Leave the program equipped with team leadership best practices, mindsets, and skills to increase your confidence and leadership effectiveness.
  3. Strengthen relationships and connections among nonprofit leader participants across the state.
  4. Leave the program with a complete team leadership framework that can serve as the basis for ongoing professional development and provide a solid foundation for bigger leadership roles in the future.

About the Coach

Picture
Mike Krause is the Chief Coaching & Consulting Officer with Global Bound LLC, working with nonprofit leaders, their talent, and boards to harness mental performance hurdles in order to enhance psychological wellbeing in-and-out of the workplace. Global Bound’s approach emphasizes the importance of understanding our wellbeing indicators and the foundational needs necessary to cultivate an engaging and thriving life. Mike works with leaders to craft and implement tailored solutions for organizations and their workplace culture.
 
Over the past 25 years, Mike has worked in the non-profit arena, holding various executive leadership roles. He served 4 ½ years with the U.S. Department of State in Southern and Central Africa, working on public health initiatives. Most recently he helped implement support programs in Boise for families in medical crisis.
