Office Space Available for Area Nonprofits​If you’re like me, you look forward to buying a new calendar or tearing off each completed month on your desk calendar (yes, I have a paper calendar on my desk). But, as the year comes to a close and you begin to tidy up your year-end giving, it’s also important to plan for the future.

​What donors will you reach out to and when? How will you thoughtfully engage them? And what cultivation strategies do you have planned? Like any good planner, it’s time to fill in your annual fundraising plan and calendar.

Office Space Available for Area Nonprofits

The Idaho Nonprofit Center has three open "hot desk" spaces in our new office that we would like to lease out. Startups, emerging organizations, or nonprofits looking to have a presence in the Treasure Valley area (and are currently headquartered in another community) are encouraged to apply. 

Interested nonprofits will need to submit:

  • Copy of your IRS determination letter (NOTE: You must have received 501 (c) 3 status from the IRS to be eligible for a hot desk)
  • Most recent 990's (if completed) OR approved annual budget 
  • List of your board of directors to include name, title, and employer (if not retired, youth, or community member at large)
  • Letter of interest

Call for Speakers 

America's Service Commissions, in partnership with Serve Idaho, is pleased to release a Call for Proposals for the 2019 National Service Regional Training Conferences. 

  • May 22 - 24, 2019 in Boise, ID

Interested workshop and/or keynote presenters should submit proposal(s) no later than midnight Eastern Time on Monday, December 10.

Grants

FUNDSY Accepting Applications for 2019/20 Beneficiary
  • FUNDSY’s application process is open to Ada County-based 501(c)(3) charitable organizations seeking to fund a capital campaign. The capital campaign grant is designed to make a significant contribution to worthy renovation or expansion projects that will enhance the mission of the recipient’s charity. 
  • Deadline: Nov. 30, 2018

The Shubert Foundation
  • The Shubert Foundation continues its commitment to the Shubert Archive. Created by the Foundation in 1976, the Archive contains more than a century's worth of production designs, scripts, sheet music, publicity materials, photographs, correspondence, business records and architectural plans. The collection, which has grown substantially over the years and continues to expand, is available to researchers, writers, historians and theatre professionals
  • Theatre applications due December 5th.
  • Deadline: Dec. 5, 2018

Serve Idaho Announces Funding Opportunity
  • The Foundation was created by the co-founder of Creative Playthings and the Princeton Center for Infancy and Early Childhood. Thus the Foundation supports innovative, creative projects and programs that will significantly enhance the development, health, safety, education, or quality of life of children from infancy through five years of age.
  • Funding is provided in three areas: early childhood welfare, early childhood education and play, and parenting education.
  • Letter of Inquiry Deadline: Jan. 31, 2019

Blue Cross of Idaho
  • The Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health is accepting proposals for the Employee Community Giving Fund, a health-focused charitable effort powered by the Blue Cross of Idaho employees. The fund will donate more than $300,000 to Idaho-based nonprofits and organizations.
  • Deadline: Jan. 31, 2019

Clif Bar Family Foundation
  • These grants are awarded for general organizational support as well as funding for specific projects. Small grants average approximately $7,000 each. 
  • Deadline: Feb. 1, 2019

Chobani Community Impact Fund
  • The Chobani Community Impact Fund has a strategic goal of strengthening the regions where Chobani employees live and work. This new $100,000 annual fund will support organizations, programs and projects that promote entrepreneurship and expand economic opportunity for individuals in the Magic Valley region of Idaho (Twin Falls, Gooding, Lincoln, Jerome, Minidoka and Cassia counties).

Rocky Mountain Power Blue Sky Program Awards
  • Rocky Mountain Power’s community-serving customers in eastern Idaho are eligible to apply for funds to build renewable energy projects. Blue Sky community project funding comes from customers participating in the Blue Sky program and is available to help cover the capital costs of installing new renewable energy systems for non-residential, community-serving sites within the Rocky Mountain Power service area (Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming).
  • Deadline: Ongoing

Volunteers Needed in Boise Area?
  • BB Involved stems from Boise Brewing’s original idea of “Community Supported Beer” or CSB. There will be a handle in the taproom designated for CSB batches where $1 of every pint sold will be donated to charity.
  • Volunteer Coordinators will work with one selected charitable organization per month to plan a volunteer event. The purpose of BB Involved is to support a nonprofit organization and give back to the community. BB Involved is a way to connect and give back without stressing brewery operations. It provides an opportunity for nonprofits to showcase their organization and receive extra help from volunteers.

Branched Roots Marketing Donation
  • Branched Roots is a marketing agency which creates a unique strategy for your business through an intense research discovery phase and subsequent marketing plan, guaranteeing business growth and ROI.
  • One nonprofit organization will be selected at random every two months. If a nonprofit is not selected after their submission is received, we ask that they re-submit an application to be considered for the next round. Services donated:
