Idaho Bill Proposed to Repeal Medicaid Expansion

Last week, the Idaho Legislature proposed a bill to repeal Medicaid Expansion completely, which if passed, could drastically affect health care accessibility to many populations in Idaho, including many of the populations that nonprofits serve, as well as nonprofit employees and their families.

​Repealing Medicaid Expansion would also take away reimbursement sources for health care nonprofits for clients they serve within the Medicaid gap. 

There will likely be introducing a new bill on this subject this week. It would replace the current proposed bill. As always, we will keep you updated on any changes.
