Meet the Keynote Speakers
Sept. 22nd Keynote: Laura Gassner Otting founded the Nonprofit Professionals Advisory Group in 2002. Author of "Change Your Career: Transitioning to the Nonprofit Sector", Laura is widely noted for her expertise in mission-driven work in publications like The New York Times, The Chronicle of Philanthropy and Money magazine. Laura is a curator for TedxBeaconStreet in Boston. Her keynote will focus on finding your impact and mission driven leadership voice.
Sept. 23rd Keynote: Rob Kusel is Director of Consulting Services at Cogeo, a firm specializing in comprehensive organizational and development initiatives, and philanthropic management. Rob was a Vice President and Partner with San Jose based Essex and Drake Fund Raising Counsel where, from 2004-2013, he assisted numerous nonprofits in planning studies, major gift and capital campaigns, capacity and organizational development, and overall strategic planning and implementation. Rob spent 5 years developing web-based programs to assist nonprofits in achieving membership relation and fundraising success. Rob will discuss current topics including 'friendraising', nonprofit trends and best practices in development.
