Idaho Changemakers Do you know a changemaker in the Idaho nonprofit community? The American Express NGen Fellows program, in partnership with Independent Sector, is designed to rapidly advance the capacity of a passionate group of 12 next generation leaders through enhanced leadership development, strategic skills strengthening, and influential network building. The program is open to changemakers age 40 and under and you can nominate yourself or someone else you know in just a few seconds. Leadership Retreat - June 3-5, 2020 Attention executive directors! Our new Nonprofit Leadership Retreat registration is now open! Attendees will join the group in beautiful Gooding, Idaho for a two night retreat packed with learning opportunities and bonding experiences. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to sign up to facilitate a breakout session, which could be content driven or an extracurricular activity. Leadership Boise (LB) has, and continues to seek, the most energetic and engaged leaders in the Treasure Valley. As one of the longest running Chamber sponsored leadership programs in the United States, Leadership Boise has graduated more than 1,500 rising and established leaders since its inception in 1975. Call for Speakers The Idaho Nonprofit Center invites you to complete our Call for Speakers form. We are looking for 75 minute breakout session facilitators for our 2020 Annual Nonprofit Conference on August 31- September 2. North Idaho Area: 'Yes, and...' Cha-Ching! Washington Nonprofits: This fun and interactive workshop will give you tools and techniques to tell the story of your organization and the impact of your work and mission in a new way! Borrowing techniques from improv-comedy, this workshop will help you craft impact-stories "on the spot!"

Grants Galore 100 Hours Nonprofit Partnership ProgramWhen it comes to nonprofit stories of impact, there is no shortage in our community. But we know the “sharing” of these stories can be challenging on the lean budgets that many nonprofits are accustomed to. Stoltz is here to help. Every year, Stoltz partners with one nonprofit and dedicates 100 hours of creative marketing services that align best with the organization’s needs. Throughout the partnership, Stoltz focuses on three key goals: reaching success through collaboration, providing strategic marketing solutions that help the organization grow their impact, and ensuring sustainability and manageability well into the future. The 2020 program is now open for applications.
School Violence Prevention and Mental Health Training The Student, Teachers, and Officers Preventing (STOP) School Violence Grant Program is designed to improve school security by providing students and teachers with the tools they need to recognize, respond quickly to, and help prevent acts of violence. Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Parent Engagement and Education Subgrant The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s Maternal and Child Health Section is offering funding for new applicants to provide information, education, technical assistance, and peer support to Idaho families of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and the professionals who serve them with the goal of promoting optimal health for CYSHCN. Rural Development Broadband The U.S. Department of Agriculture – Rural Development ReConnect Program offers unique federal financing and funding options in the form of loans, grants, and loan/grant combinations to facilitate broadband deployment in areas of rural America that don’t currently have sufficient access to broadband, defined by the law as 10 Mbps (megabits per second) downstream and 1 Mbps upstream. Colorectal Cancer Screening The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Public Health and Health Systems Partnerships to Increase Colorectal Cancer Screening in Clinical Settings program provides funding for public health to partner with health systems and primary care clinics to implement evidence-based interventions (EBI) to increase colorectal cancer screening (CRC) rates among defined populations age 50-75 in communities with screening rates lower than the national, regional, or local rate. Community Partnership Award Are you a budding nonprofit organization in need of pro-bono accounting services?? It's time to apply for Harris CPAs Community Partnership Award!Formerly known as the Helping Hands Grant, this program allows nonprofit organizations to apply for one-time services such as startup assistance, applying for nonprofit status with the IRS, bookkeeping and payroll setup and process improvement, consulting services, tax preparation or assistance in preparing for an audit or review. The goal of the Community Partnership Award program is to provide professional assistance and consulting on projects or problems faced by nonprofit organizations, so that these local organizations can continue to provide benefits to our community. WIOA Title II Grant Idaho Career & Technical Education will have three distinct funding opportunities during the spring of 2020. Fund will be awarded to support Adulty Education and Literacy programs in the State of Idaho. Homeless Veteran Assistance The VA Homeless Providers Grant and Per Diem Program provides funding for eligible entities to provide transitional housing beds or service centers for veterans who are homeless or at risk for becoming homeless. Hardware Grants Program Is your nonprofit in need of technology to help meet your mission? Free Geek’s Hardware Grants program connects qualifying nonprofits with free and low-cost refurbished technology. They serve over 150 different organizations every year. Rocky Mountain Power Blue Sky Program Awards Rocky Mountain Power’s community-serving customers in eastern Idaho are eligible to apply for funds to build renewable energy projects. Blue Sky community project funding comes from customers participating in the Blue Sky program and is available to help cover the capital costs of installing new renewable energy systems for non-residential, community-serving sites within the Rocky Mountain Power service area (Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming). Volunteers Needed in Boise Area? BB Involved stems from Boise Brewing’s original idea of “Community Supported Beer” or CSB. There will be a handle in the taproom designated for CSB batches where $1 of every pint sold will be donated to charity.
