Add Idaho Gives to Yearly Plans

​Finalizing your budget and fundraising strategy for next year? Have you included Idaho Gives, Avenues for Hope, or Giving Tuesday in your plans?
 
Intentionally including giving days within your overall goals helps create a successful campaign and increases your reach and impact.
 
Successful fundraising organizations…

• identify a specific project or program to raise funds for during Idaho Gives, maximizing media attention.
• secure matches (using corporate or foundation gifts) to leverage the giving day marketing and general buzz.
• talk to their annual donors to allocate gifts on Idaho Gives and to capitalize on prizes.
• reach out to their top cheerleaders to build peer-to-peer pages and increase the net of potential donors.
• utilize multiple giving events throughout the year and ensure that each ask is intentional, meaningful, and demonstrates clear impact.
• include Idaho Gives in their communications plan to fully market the event.
• create a clear, succinct, personal story to tell during the giving day campaign that can be used any time of year.

 
Spring of 2023 may seem far away but starting early and making Idaho Gives (or any giving day) a regular part of your development plan will take you further than you thought possible.
