Fifteen junior and senior level students are studying proposal development through the Boise State English Department’s Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication program. The students would provide the following* in conjunction with the nonprofit partner/mentor.
Students will work individually or in teams of two. At the outset of the work, the individual student or student team will work with their partner to write an MOU to clarify the agreement and timelines for the work to be completed. Students will need to wrap up their work by the first few week of December in order to present their projects in the classroom the second week. If this opportunity is of interest, please contact Debra Purdy at [email protected] *Both the short-form and long-form projects can be outside the examples described; the instructor will work with the organization and student(s) to identify practical and appropriate materials that will achieve the aims of the organization and that of the course.
