Business Affiliate Highlight: Even Stevens

Even Stevens is a sandwich shop with a cause. Our mission is simple, we work hard to make a positive difference in our neighborhood, while bringing people together and giving them delicious food. Simply put, our vision is Eat to Give. 

​For every sandwich sold, we donate one to a local non-profit in the community. In Boise we work with St Vincent de Paul, Boise Rescue Mission, The Idaho Foodbank, and Corpus Christi House. By providing these non-profits with food we enable them to reallocate funds into other programs so they can continue the amazing work they already do in the community. While Even Stevens isn’t just local to Idaho, each location works with four community-based non-profits in order to make the biggest impact possible. 

You may wonder why Even Stevens even cares about non-profits in the first place, the answer is quite simple. One in six Americans don’t know where their next meal is coming from, and our founder Steve Down wanted to do something revolutionary to change that. Most people want to help their community, but aren’t quite sure how to actually go about it. At Even Stevens we offer a simple solution: buy a sandwich and we will give another to a person in need.

​To date Even Stevens has been able to donate almost 900,000 sandwiches throughout Utah, Idaho and Arizona with almost 65,000 sandwiches donated from the Boise store (just since April of this year!). We are excited for continued growth, and look forward to slinging more sammies!
