Thank you Katie Casillas, Director of Marketing and Communications for your continued partnership and service to the nonprofit community!

Q: What does your company do?

"GolfStatus.org is a give-back initiative designed to get technology--specifically golf event management and fundraising technology--into the hands of nonprofits so they can leverage the sport to engage new and existing donors, connect with new and existing corporate partners/sponsors, save time and conserve resources, and raise more money for important causes."

Q: How can you/your company support the nonprofit sector?

"GolfStatus.org is designed specifically to serve nonprofits. In fact, our technology is available to organizations and individuals planning fundraisers at no cost. We're proud to be serving thousands of organizations nationwide, ranging from local high school fundraisers to seven-figure charity outings that attract national sponsors and recognition (plus everything in between). We're honored to serve as a conduit between donors/sponsors and the nonprofits who need them and we see golf as a key opportunity to connect the two."
Q: What is one highlight of the past year?

"COVID has created so many unexpected challenges and required so much adapting, creative thinking, coordinating, and just all-around work for the sector. Golf events have been one of few fundraisers that have continued over the last 18 months--many with small adaptations and minimal interruption. Our technology has made it possible for many orgs to keep their events going. We've heard countless times from event organizers over the last year that they don't know how they'd have gotten through without us, or that they're grateful for the opportunity to run a hybrid golf event or leverage technology to advance their golf event in a way that they didn't even know was possible. We launched our Golf for Good program with exactly this kind of impact in mind, so hearing that feedback and seeing people use our technology in incredible ways has certainly been a highlight."
Q: What is your favorite part of INC membership?

"Organizations that serve nonprofits at the local level are SO IMPORTANT. We're committed to supporting that work because we know how valuable it is to not only the state of Idaho, but the health of its nonprofit community and--more broadly--the health of the national nonprofit community. Our favorite part is that we get to play a small role in contributing to that work and, in doing so, help spread the word about what we do and about the programs we have to help nonprofits leverage golf--which also happens to have a very active community in Idaho."
