Harris & Co. takes pride in its position as an Idaho-owned CPA firm, but more than that it combines the surprisingly rare qualities of timely service, expertise and a team of individuals who care about the success of their nonprofit community. Harris & Co’s involvement in the nonprofit community expands well beyond the clients that it serves. The employees of the firm take personal interest in many nonprofit organizations as board members, members and loyal supporters.

​Established in 1996, Harris & Co. has grown from a three-person firm to one with twenty-four professionals who proudly work with more than 100 nonprofit organizations throughout the State of Idaho. But growth has not affected the passion and quality of service that has remained an important part of the firm’s vision. Creative involvement through Nonprofit Lunch and Learns, and actively participating with organizations and their boards, helps Harris & Co. to stand apart. If the team at Harris & Co. can provide value, they are happy to assist. They truly believe that a healthy nonprofit community is better for the local and state wide community.

The firm has such a vested interested in the non-profit community that, for over a decade, it has hosted Helping Hands. As part of this program, Harris & Co. awards numerous grants to local nonprofit organizations for pro-bono accounting services. The goal of the Helping Hands program is to provide professional assistance and consulting on projects or problems faced by nonprofits so that these local organizations can continue to provide benefits to our community. Just this past year, Harris & Co. awarded over 300 hours to these local nonprofits – more than any other year. This passion and dedication to the nonprofit community is just one of the reasons that Harris & Co. has proudly chosen to sponsor the 13th Annual Idaho Nonprofit Center Statewide Conference.
