How Does Biden's Plan Impact Idaho's Nonprofits?

OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard

Yesterday, an Emergency Temporary Standard was made public concerning vaccination and testing requirements for larger employees.

We understand that not many Idaho nonprofits have 100+ employees. However, please read the NCN summary carefully to discern if your organization needs to comply.

​Some highlights that may be especially pertinent for Idaho are:

• Both full and part time employees are counted
• If a nonprofit operates more than one site, all employees from all sites are counted (i.e. YMCA and Youth Ranch)
• Contracted workers are not counted  
• Remote workers are not required to be vaccinated but need a negative test when in-person with coworkers or clients/customers
• If a nonprofit is part of a national organization (i.e. United Way) then the employee count is just those within the local, regional office
