Are you a member in good standing (business affiliates and nonprofits alike) that would like to volunteer your time to serve on one of our newly formed committees? Your involvement is so important to us and we need you AND your ideas. For us to fulfill our mission, and the initiatives of our plan, we want to include our members in giving their voice at the decision-making level for our annual conference, for Idaho Gives, public policy, and marketing & membership. Conference Planning Committee:
Members: At least one committee member per the following areas: Sandpoint, Coeur d’Alene, Moscow/Lewiston, McCall/Cascade, Nampa/Caldwell, Mountain Home (if possible), Twin Falls, Wood River Valley, Pocatello and Idaho Falls. At least one board member should participate if possible. Members can be either nonprofits or business affiliate members. Staff liaison: Programs/Event Manager Purpose: Support the INC in planning and promoting the Idaho Nonprofit Center Statewide Conference Meetings: Monthly (with Nov – Feb off) Term: Committee participation is for one year and is renewable annually. Staff liaison: Marketing/Communications Manager Purpose: Support the INC in outreach to current and potential members, both nonprofit and business affiliates Meetings: Bi-Monthly Term: Committee participation is for one year and is renewable annually. Public Policy Committee: Members: Committee members are self-selected on a rolling basis, and are comprised of professionals knowledgeable about and involved currently or in the past with legislative issues. The PPC consists of a chair, secretary, Nonprofit Center board liaison, and members at large. Minutes of PPC meetings are distributed to the Board on a timely basis. Staff liaison: ED/CEO Purpose: The Idaho Nonprofit Center Public Policy Program is intended to increase the ability of nonprofit organizations in Idaho to improve the lives of their constituents through taking action on issues of public policy that affect the nonprofit sector as a whole. Meetings: Bi-Monthly Examples of Policy Committee responsibilities:
Idaho Gives Steering Committee Members: At least one committee member per the following areas: Sandpoint, Coeur d’Alene, Moscow/Lewiston, McCall/Cascade, Nampa/Caldwell, Mountain Home (if possible), Twin Falls, Wood River Valley, Pocatello and Idaho Falls. At least one board member should participate if possible. Members can be either nonprofits or business affiliate members. Staff liaison: Programs & Event Manager Purpose: Act as the liaison between Idaho Gives and your community! This committee with have monthly gatherings or communication to make sure every community around the state is prepared and engaged on this big day of giving! This committee will serve as the Idaho Gives expert and will encourage the community to participate in the employer partner program, nonprofit registration, and event hosting. Meetings: Monthly throughout Idaho Gives Examples of Steering Committee responsibilities:
