Thank you to Claire Vitucci, Marketing and Communications at Community Foundation of Teton Valley, for your continued partnership and service to the nonprofit community! Mission: To elevate lives through the power of generosity. Q: What is one of the proudest accomplishments of your nonprofit? "The Community Foundation pivoted to turn all our resources towards supporting local nonprofits during our annual fundraiser, the Tin Cup Challenge at the onset of the pandemic. Through cost-saving tactics the Community Foundation was able to award our highest Match Grant to-date at 60% to participating nonprofits." Q: What are the biggest rewards or what do you enjoy most about the work you do? "The Community Foundation of Teton Valley is truly a hub for nonprofit activity, from grants to workshops, moral support to social support. We love hearing what local nonprofits are up to, seeing grants in action within our community, and touting organizational and programmatic successes to our constituents." Q: What are some of the biggest challenges you face day-to-day? "Given that our work is cyclical, there are a number of necessary steps that have to be taken as we begin and end each program. Equally, we are always working to improve systems and enhance our impact. Allocating time to necessary to-do lists, engaging with our community, and working on larger projects is always a feat." Q: Is there something that surprised you about working for a nonprofit? "Coming from a previous career working for small owner/operators, I was taken aback when my first E.D. resigned and I realized I would soon have a new boss of the board's choosing. I was, however, relieved that the passion required by the position brought is someone equally as lovely." Q: What have you benefited most from INC membership?
"Living in a rural state, the Community Foundation of Teton Valley appreciates the Idaho Nonprofit Center's ability to offer connection through networking opportunities, events, acknowledgements, and social media."
