Message from the Executive Director

July brings a new look for the Idaho Nonprofit Center. Check out our new website and watch for new and exciting content, plus additional member benefits to be announced.

This month, CenterView is full of great information, including an article from business affiliate Karen Baerlocher of Peak View Solutions. If you are unsure about the new FLSA overtime regulations or if they apply to you, her article will help you answer that question and provide some great ideas on steps you can take TODAY to ensure you are compliant before the December 1, 2016 deadline.

We heard you loud and clear from our membership needs assessment that accessing your membership benefits has not always been easy. Not only can you find the member login portal in an easy place on our home page, but your membership benefits are easy to see when you log in.

But we won’t stop there.  We also heard from you that the benefits you receive aren’t always clear.  In the coming months we will begin to host a quarterly webinar membership orientation and we plan to beef up our membership benefits based on your feedback and what you need the most from us.  We can’t wait to start our membership orientation series (and via webinar so it doesn’t matter where you live, you can learn too!) and show you all the great things we’ve put together to give you back the value of your membership, and then some.

Lastly I wanted to share that over 300 people took our needs assessment in June.  That’s a lot of people who gave us their valued time and feedback.  We commit to providing a comprehensive report to our membership along with using your feedback to make enhancements to the Idaho Nonprofit Center’s programs and services for ALL members, regardless of their status as a nonprofit or business affiliate.  You are all members and you are all important to us.
