This pre-survey is designed to help us hone in on the information you really want/need for the full report (to be published later this year). We need your input now so we can effectively streamline the compensation survey questions. The goal is to ask only for the information you truly need. This will cut down on the time you spend sharing the information with us. Our most recently published compensation report was in 2015. Not only is the information out of date but about 87 nonprofits of the over 6500 in Idaho actually provided information to us. 87 nonprofits is not enough respondents to the study that many organizations have used to base their hiring salary and benefit packages on. We need a better sample size and we hope you will complete both the pre and full surveys. Even if you never plan to use the survey for your own purposes, please know that the report is also a critical tool in our toolbox for policy & advocacy work. We need to understand the compensation and benefits paid to our nonprofit counterparts as this information can be shared with policymakers and the broader community. Please complete the pre-survey by March 16. Needs Assessment SurveyI am also pleased –AND proud– to report that the Idaho Nonprofit Center will be involved in strategic planning this spring. We are just three years shy of our 20 year anniversary and now is a great time for us to take a look at where we want to go from here. Our amazing board is poised and ready to ask ourselves the tough questions and set a plan for our future that ensures we understand what YOU need and have the resources in place to deliver. Normally we send our annual needs assessment out in June but this year that survey will be sent in March. This information will be instrumental in guiding our conversations so that we can formulate a plan to meet your needs now and in the future. The survey will be similar to previous years with some slight tweaks so that we can get a sense of our collective vision for how the Idaho Nonprofit Center can continue to serve the sector. Not only will the needs assessment be helpful to our strategic planning process, but we use that information to form our training programs each year. This is your opportunity to tell us what YOU want and need to grow your capacity and create sustainability in your organizations. We also use this information to sunset programs that are not useful to you and most importantly it helps us to create programs and identify services and benefits that are most useful to you. Thank You!We understand that every time you complete a survey that it is your very valuable time. But we do hope that you know that we take every piece of feedback that you give us under consideration as we move forward to serve you better.
As always, I thank you for your membership and support of the Center, but most importantly I wish to express my gratitude to every one of you for all the contributions you make in our communities: economic, mission fulfillment, and building an amazing quality of life for Idahoans everywhere.
