Hello nonprofit friends and pals! For those of you who do not know much about me, I was drawn to the nonprofit sector by my love of music and organizations that foster the arts. I am excited to share this passion with you through our new series, the Nonprofit Playlist.

I’d like to kick things off by highlighting a local Idaho artist (who now resides in Los Angeles), Marcus Eaton. This month, Easton released his latest single, Bystander, which features powerful lyrics which serve as a call to action against injustice and bigotry.

​When life calls who answers? We don’t need another bystander 

The 3:41 minute masterpiece encapsulates the incredible guitar playing, singing, songwriting, and production that makes his music so unique and captivating. Both timely and inspirational, Bystander has been my top listened-to track this month.

Eaton is hailed by two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee David Crosby as "one of the best young singer-songwriters in America...maybe even the world.” If you haven’t had the chance to listen yet, you’ll soon understand why he receives such high praise.
