Looking for Internships - Boise AreaVenture College is under the College of Innovation and Design at Boise State University, and while they primarily focus on entrepreneurship and student-led businesses. They have recently started a new internship program for Boise State students, and are looking for nonprofits to partner with! The internship program is unique in that it is project-based. Students are assigned projects from different nonprofits/businesses and work on them either solo or on teams at the Venture College offices in downtown Boise. All communication is done through the program and will also act as quality control on the projects the interns are assigned. This alleviates a lot of the pressure organizations feel to always have work for interns/finding space for interns/managing interns. As nonprofits have projects in need of extra hands, the Venture College finds interns with the applicable skill set, and everything is done through the Venture College. If you know of any nonprofits that may have projects or may need assistance from interns, please let them know.
