Learn More Here Impact of the Family First Prevention Services Act The Family First Prevention Services Act is a dramatic shift in federal funding for foster care, out of home placement and prevention services and includes an accreditation mandate for specific providers – those that will become Qualified Residential Treatment Programs (QRTPs) – in order to access IV-E funding. An estimated 8,000 organizations nationwide are now required to seek accreditation. Your organization may be affected by this new legislation and will need accreditation services. COA is one of three named approved accreditors whose goal is to educate impacted providers about COA’s standards and process in order to make a timely accreditor choice and pursue and achieve accreditation.
