No matter what your desired outcome was, now is the time to reach out to your elected officials to initiate or continue a working relationship. We ask that before the week is up, jumpstart your advocacy relationships by congratulating your newly elected policymakers. CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVES Sign on to expand the charitable tax deduction Please join the Idaho Nonprofit Center in signing this letter, organized by the Charitable Giving Coalition, to urge Congress to restore and expand the charitable deduction for non-itemizing taxpayers, also known as the universal charitable deduction.
