We're Halfway Through Idaho Gives! It’s been an amazing first week for Idaho Gives and we’re ready to keep the second half just as great! We wanted to make sure you have the necessary tools to keep your campaign going strong. No matter how many donations you’ve received so far, you still have a week to reach out to donors and make important connections. Social media is a powerful tool, especially Facebook. In fact, right now, Facebook is responsible for 95% of all donations that come from social media! Make sure you read up on our social media tips and tricks to really leverage this platform. Some more tools to make your campaign the best it can be: It's Not Too Late to Make Your Profile Great!Your profile might be the only thing a potential donor looks at when they decide whether or not to make a donation. Make sure yours is engaging and informative. We have a 20 minute training video that will walk you through all of the steps on creating a great giving day profile. Psst! We also have a Pretty Profile prize that you can enter when you complete your profile! Think About How to Thank SupportersIt’s never too soon to be thinking about how you plan to thank those who support you during Idaho Gives. Studies show that the more donor engagement you participate in, the more likely those supporters will donate in the future, as well. This is a good time to be creative. Handwritten, personalized thank you cards are always a great choice, but we also encourage you to think outside the box when it comes to thanking and engaging your donors after Idaho Gives ends. And once you decide, make sure to enter our Energetic Engagement prize for the chance at an extra $1,000 for your organization! Speaking of Prizes...We’ve been awarding at least one prize a day to eligible organizations. Do you think you can get a donor from each of the 50 U.S. states? Would you like to show off your love for Idaho Gives AND Star Wars? Or maybe you like to rock out while you participate in Idaho Gives and you want to share your playlist with us! Any of these and more could earn you entries into prize drawings! We're even introducing a new prize, the Well-Done Weekend. Organizations that receive online donations from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, through Midnight May 3, MT will be eligible for this prize. If your organization receives the two millionth dollar donation than you'll earn an extra $500! We encourage you to reach out to your donors as the amount gets close. It doesn't matter the donation amount! If your organization receives the donation that pushes the grand total to $2 million dollars, then they're gift will be increased by $500!
